Obituary for Paul Andrew Fenk (Okotoks)

Paul was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 14, 1966 to Ted and Lillian Fenk and left us unexpectedly on June 10, 2019 in Okotoks, Alberta. Paul was the youngest of 8 children. He grew up on the family farm east of Winnipeg in the small community of Ste. Rita. growing up in the "bush" allowed him the freedom to explore the world around him at a young age on the heals of his older siblings, learning the lessons of life that would be the cornerstones on which he built and lived his life. He learned the importance of hard work, the joy and passion for cars and driving, where in the rain barrel or river to cool your beer and how to shoot a game of pool. But most of all he learned that love could be defined by one word, family.
Paul worked his whole life in the construction business, following all of his brothers into the "family business", building homes in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Alberta. He was fortunate enough to spend the last 25 years working with his business partner and life long friend, Tony Friesen, where he not only had the support of Tony but was accepted, welcomed and loved deeply as a family member by Tony, Lisa, Melissa, Jessica and Tim. Paul loved to shoot a game of pool, playing in the Oilfields Pool League for 10 years and the Okotoks 8 Ball Pool League for over 20 years.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy, his fur babies, Cami and Eight Ball, brothers and sisters; Helen Fenk (Gerry) Kathy Livingstone (Neil) Irwin Fenk (Pat) Tony Fenk (Margo) Karl Fenk (Rita) Chris Fenk, Lawrence Fenk.
Dorothy's family; Carla Lampman (Leonard) Joan Martin (Blair) Ian van Bussel (Ann)
