Prearrangement

Prearrangement is the planning for a funeral service before it is required, often many years before death occurs.  Individuals may plan a funeral for themselves or for a family member.

      
 Among the primary reasons for preplanning a funeral is that it provides a clear statement of the deceased's wishes, thereby answering some of the most difficult questions the survivors will need to address, and assures them that those wishes can be met.  It is important to speak to your family when preplanning a funeral so that their emotional needs may also be met.  For more information on the prearrangement options listed above, please use our online Information Request form or contact either of the High River or Okotoks offices.
