<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://snodgrassfuneralhomes.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/162_115511.jpg" alt="Frances &quot;Fran&quot; Tillotson " />Frances Irene Tillotson of Okotoks passed away February 19, 2012 at the Foothills Country Hospice at the age of 89 years. Fran was born August 24, 1922 at Sandstone west of Okotoks, Alberta the youngest of Lizzie and Percy Pegler. She married Alvie Tillotson in 1944 and embraced the role of a farmer’s wife. She lived on the farm for over 60 years before moving to the Sandstone Lodge in 2005. Fran was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church, and her strong faith and unwavering trust in God guided her throughout her life. For the last few months, Fran found great comfort and peace at the Foothills Country Hospice which she described as heaven on earth and where the staff and volunteers were compassionate angels. Fran was predeceased by her husband Alvie and by her parents Lizzie and Percy Pegler. She leaves to mourn her two sisters, Winnie Hebson and Ruby Cole, as well as niece Dorothy Jackson and nephews Bill Hebson and Bob Hebson and their families. Fran will also be missed by a large circle of friends who were touched by her enduring faith, wisdom and strength.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Okotoks. Interment to follow at Okotoks Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to the Foothills Country Hospice Society Box 274, Okotoks, Alberta T1S 1A5. 1942-2012 69 years
Bob Mclean passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 19th at his home in Cayley with his family at his side. Bob will be remembered for his unique sense of humour and colourful language among many other qualities. Born on the 16th day of August in Edmonton to Robert and Anne Marie Mclean, Bob lived most of his life in the High River/Cayley area and was on the road much of the time driving truck and operating crane. Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years Carolyn, his sons Scott and Rob(Samantha), grandsons Angus, Jasper and Keaton and granddaughters Cristiana and Alex. 
Friends are invited to share memories of Bob at a Celebration of Life that will take place at the family home at 35 Westmount Drive in Cayley on Friday, February 24th from 12 p.m. to 4p.m. Donations can be made in Bob’s memory to Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue Foundation , Box 6131 High River, AB. <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://snodgrassfuneralhomes.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/162_115614.jpg" alt="Marie Airhart" />Following a hard battle with brain cancer, Marie Kathleen Airhart passed away peacefully on the 17th day of February at the High River Hospital. Marie was born on the 12th day of April, 1943 to Joseph and Catherine Martell in Peterborough Ontario, where she grew up and met young William Airhart, whom she married in 1961. The family moved west to High River, AB in 1981 and Marie worked in admitting at the High River Hospital until retirement in May of 2010. Marie and William celebrated 50 years of wonderful marriage this last November. Marie was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Catherine and is survived by her ever-loving husband William, her children Bobby, Lorrie and Linda and five grandsons; Michael, Andrew, Kyle, Christopher and Cory. Marie is also survived by her Brother William Martell and Sister Margaret (Joe) Hunter of Peterborough, Ontario. It was Marie’s wish that no public memorial be held. <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://snodgrassfuneralhomes.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/162_115344.jpg" alt="Naomi Robinson" />Naomi passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 16, 2012. She grew up in the rural Saskatchewan just north of Regina, in a tiny place called Markinch.  Naomi (nee Fenwick) met Larry Robinson in the Airforce where they were both stationed during the war.  They married in 1946. They initially moved to Canoe, BC for their first two years and where the first son was born.  They then lived in Saskatchewan for the next 8 years where four daughters were born and to the final home outside Okotoks in 1956 where they had two additional children.  Naomi was very active raising seven children and in her spare time she was very involved in the Okotoks Legion serving as their President for many years as well as the Elks Royal Purple Ladies Auxiliary.  Naomi was also a life time member of the Turner Valley Legion. Naomi was involved with children in hockey, school events, and all type of other activities that her children were involved in.  She also found time to work at Sandi’s ladies wear and the grocery store where she met so many of the community. Naomi was very creative and loved to sew, quilt, ceramics and Paper Toile among other handi-crafts.
Naomi is survived by her loving husband Larry, her children Lyle, Paula, Vicki, Valerie, Ronda, Dana and Janine and eighteen grand-children and thirteen great-grand children plus her brother Gerald Fenwick and his family and her sister Janis Fenwick.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://snodgrassfuneralhomes.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/162_115198.jpg" alt="William David Leman" />Dave, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 13, 2012 in High River, Alberta.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Isabel, his children, their spouses and children: Christine and Joe Pyra (Susan, Jeffrey, Jennifer and David), Francis and Penny (Heather, Leah and Jessica), Ken, Robert (Nijoel and Nathan), Stephen (Dustan, Denver and Kendra), Diane and Clarence Diebel (Brendan) and Pam and Don Huestis (Brady, Kyle and Joshua) as well as ten great-grandchildren.
Dave is also survived by his sister Dorothy Anderson (Stan) and his brothers John (Diane) and Norman as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Catherine, and his brothers Robert, Richard and Edward and baby sister Ellen.
Dave was born in High River and was raised on the home place west of Nanton, where the Muirhead School still stands.  At the age of 16 he left home, working for various area ranches.  While waiting at the English corner for the mailman to arrive, he met Isabel Swan, who would become the love of his life.  They married in 1948 and struck out to build a life of their own.  They purchased a quarter section west of Millarville where they ranched while Dave worked out for Canadian Western Natural Gas and Home Oil.  Later, Dave and Isabel moved closer to Turner Valley where they started their own dairy business which the family operated until 1973.  After retiring from the dairy business and moving into Turner Valley, Dave worked for the Dept. of Highways, the Turner Valley Ambulance Service and the RCMP.
They later sold their home in Turner Valley to purchase a seniors’ condo in Black Diamond.  For the last 16 months Dave resided in long-term care at the High River General Hospital where he passed away peacefully.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the High River General Hospital for the exceptional and compassionate care which Dad received.  He will be sadly missed by all.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://snodgrassfuneralhomes.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/162_115008.jpg" alt="David &quot;Blair&quot; Hunter" />Blair passed away peacefully at the High River Hospital on February 11th, 2012, surrounded by his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Bonnie, Children; Ashlee and Amber, Siblings; Pat (Barry), Bob (Phyllis), Debbie (Lawrence), Heather (Kenny), Donald, and Sandra (Stuart), Father; Elmer (Susan), as well as many nieces and nephews. Blair spent most of his earlier years in Manitoba, and called Alberta home at the age of 20. He was an avid sports fan-cheering for Calgary of course, and spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors whether it be out on his motorcycle, quading, or just a day in the mountains. 
Blair will be greatly missed by those still here- welcomed by his mother Ruth and those that went before him. 
A celebration of life will be held at the Foothills Centennial Centre on Friday, February 17th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Blair to the Foothills Country Hospice, PO Box 274 Okotoks, Alberta T1S 1A5.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://snodgrassfuneralhomes.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/162_115010.jpg" alt="Linda Borson" />Linda Mary Gail Borson passed away peacefully in her sleep at Calgary’s Chinook Care Centre Hospice in her 67th year. Cherished mother of Bradley and Barry (Sharon and daughters Leigh-Ann and Melissa) and grandmother of Ryan and Curtis Borson, Linda was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Robert Borson, and her parents Robert Nugent and Irene (Benoit) Nugent. She will be sadly missed by her three sisters, Diane Reno (Toronto), Michele Brown (Edmonton) and Laura Friend (Calgary) and her six nephews.
Born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Linda was raised in Winnipeg as a young girl and moved with her family to Calgary in the early 1950s. She lived most of her life in Cayley, Alberta on an independent and productive farm owned with her husband, Bob. For many years, she worked for CIBC in progressively responsible positions in Calgary and Nanton, where she was affectionately known as &quot;a rare orchid.&quot;
A private Memorial Service was held at the farm. The family wishes to thank all those who called to express their condolences. It was deeply appreciated.
