Military / Fraternity honors are available to any serving or veteran member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Services can include the covering of the casket with a Canadian flag, Union Jack or Red Ensign. A Bugle Taps may be arranged, and veterans' organizations may provide pallbearers and a Guard of Honor if requested. Snodgrass Funeral Homes will contact any appropriate organizations at your request and make the necessary arrangements. We will also advise you on any benefits or allowances available through the Department of Veterans' Affairs or through similar organizations.
A Field of Honor and Cross of Sacrifice is a part of most cemeteries in Alberta. With permission, veterans or other armed forces members may be interred in this section.
